convenience. Our knowledgeable floor specialists will be able to provide you
with advice and assistance on choosing the proper products for your particular
flooring system.
For the proper fit and upkeep of your floor we suggest the following:
Damp Proof Membrane If your room is on the ground floor it is essential that a damp proof membrane is used to ensure that no moisture gets into your flooring, otherwise the guarantee on your flooring will be affected.
Padding If your room is on the ground floor we recommend the use of a thin rubber based underlay. If your room is on an upper floor, a thicker foam underlay can be used.
Fitting Kit In order to fit your floor properly, we suggest you use a fitting kit. This kit includes a tapping block, pull-bar, and expansion gap spacers.
Moldings For a finished look, you will need moldings to cover the expansion gap around the edges of your floor, gaps between flooring in adjacent rooms, stairs and corners. We carry a range of moldings to match the color of your floor and the look of the room.
Adhesives In order to attach the moldings to the flooring system, we suggest the purchase of the appropriate adhesive for your floor.
Pipe Roses For the gaps around radiator pipes, we have a range or wooden pipe roses to match your flooring.
Cleaning Products The easiest way to care for and maintain your floor is to use the appropriate cleaning products designed for your specific floor. Micro fiber mops and non-abrasive cleaning solutions are recommended by most manufactures and we carry a full-line of kits, mops, cloths and sprays.
Flooring Protectors Felt floor protectors are recommended for the bottom of all furniture as well as door mats for the entrance of your home. We carry a full line of castor cups, floor protectors, and quality door mats to maintain the luster of your floor for years.
Color Fill In the unlikely event that your floor gets chipped or scratched, we have an assortment of colors to match your flooring.
